Only 7% of the NHL players are minorities ? The NHL has known for nearly five decades that it lacks a diverse playing staff and also a diverse fanbase. It could have done something about it over the years and yet chose not. That certainly wasn’t a smart financial move, it didn’t endear the organization to potential minority costumers and the only explanation that makes anything approaching “sense” is if it is viewed an intentional to exclude certain groups. That’s the definition of racism, wether other people agree with it or not.
