The final track on Creatures is titled ingcuka, which means hyena or wolf in an African dialect called Xhosa. This animal is being used to represent the entity of greed, one of the seven deadly sins of man. The hook represents the many who are completely aware of how selfish they are and have fully excepted it. The verse involves the entity Greed angrily snapping at society for being too predictable. It is fed up and beyond bored with its job even stating that it, “can’t even sleep for two seconds”. It speaks as if it’s one of us, even going as far as mentioning the other six sins as if they were close to one other. This is because the sins are not only committed by man but were created by man as well, giving them human character traits. The ep concludes with Greed stating that all sins do is win, which is what will continue to happen should we stay unaware of their power.
